Well this was expected wasn’t it? MuscleNerd, the extremely talented hacker of the iPhone Dev Team has posted a tweet that you can’t afford to miss out on – iOS 4.3.5 has been hacked.

redsn0w iOS 4.3.5 jailbreak

The great thing to note here is that this development took place within hours of Apple releasing the extremely minor iOS 4.3.5 update. What’s more exciting is that to jailbreak the latest release of iOS 4.3, you don’t have to download a new version of redsn0w. That’s right folks, the redsn0w 0.9.8b4 version will suffice. All that needs to be done from your side is that you need to point redsn0w to the iOS 4.3.5 ipsw file when prompted.

Last, but not the least, this jailbreak just like the previous one is a tethered one and doesn’t work with the iPad 2. So we would advise you to stay put with iOS 4.3.3 as you can get an untethered jailbreak for the said iOS version. So what will be it? Will you upgrade to iOS 4.3.5 and limit yourself to a tethered jailbreak or will you stick to iOS 4.3.3?
