Want untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3? Save iOS 4.2.1 SHSH right now
Saving the iOS 4.2.1 SHSH of your iDevice has gotten a whole lot important. Why? Well, MuscleNerd, the iPhone Dev Team member has advised the jailbreak universe to save the SHSH blob for the iOS 4.2.1 aka iOS 4.2 firmware, to ensure an untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3 when it arrives.
Here’s the tweet:
So if @comex were to develop 4.2.1 untether, we warn all to save their 4.2.1 IPSWs for 4.3 untether via Monte
If you are hearing about Monte for the first time, this is the backup method that the iPhone Dev Team is using with redsn0w 0.9.7, the untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1.

So, there you have it. If you have an iOS 4.2.1 enabled iDevice, you are advised to save the very precious SHSH right now. One way of doing this extremely important task is to use a Cydia app iSHSHit.
