iOS 4.2 is coming this Friday

The rumor mill has produced yet another iOS 4.2 release date rumor. This time Macstories is the contributing party thanks to their AT&T insider. The Apple loving blog has launched a claim which suggests Apple will be rolling out the highly anticipated iOS 4.2 come Friday (12th November) at 10 AM PST.
If this rumor is true, then this means you won’t be getting the iOS 4.2 update today as suggested by an earlier rumor. Having said that Apple is set to roll out iTunes 10.1 and Mac OS X 10.6.5. Both of these releases are directly related to iOS 4.2 as they are needed for the AirPrint and AirPlay functionalities.
