iOS 5.0.1 goes live, brings multi-tasking gestures for the original iPad

Well that was quick wasn’t it? Apple which was expected to roll out iOS 5.0.1 in few weeks time has made available the first minor update for iOS 5 for iDevice users all across the globe. Features, fixes and supported devices are listed after the break.
iOS 5.0.1 Features/Bug fixes
- As promised, iOS 5.0.1 fixes the bugs affecting battery life.
- Brings multi-tasking gestures to the original iPad or the first generation iPad as some of you like to call it.
- Resolves bugs related to Documents in the cloud.
- Improves voice recognition for Australian users using dictation.
iOS 5.0.1 supported iDevices

- iPad 2
- iPad
- iPod Touch 4G
- iPod Touch 3G
As always, we will advise you to stay away from the update until we hear words of wisdom from the iOS hackers regarding the update being safe for jailbreaking purposes.
