iOS 5 which has been out for a while now, just like other iOS releases came with its share of bugs and flaws. One serious bug which we reported here as well, was related to the mobile OS draining battery juice a bit too quickly for everyone’s liking, particularly for iPhone 4S. Apple, being a responsible entity has updated its followers on this important issue and has promised to fix this issue once and for all with the rollout of iOS 5.0.1.

The Cupertinos in a memo, shared by 9to5Mac, has asked its employees not to replace iDevices of the users complaining of battery issues. Instead the folks on Apple payroll have been asked to request the customers to wait for a software update (i.e. iOS 5.0.1) that will fix this unwanted issue.

As always, the tech giants haven’t provided a specific release date for iOS 5.0.1 and has promised to release the first minor update for iOS 5 in few weeks time. We will keep you informed on this as the story develops. You are advised to use this temporary fix until Apple rolls out iOS 5.0.1.
