It has been about two days since Apple unleashed their latest (probably not the greatest) iOS update, iOS 6 and as expected it has brought with it some annoyances. A growing thread at Apple’s official discussion form reveals that users who updated to iOS 6 are having problems connecting to their WiFi networks.

The interesting thing to note here is that majority of the affected folks are the ones who own an iPhone 4S. What’s happening is that the affected folks are seeing their WiFi icons appearing as grayed out / disabled. Trying some common fix options like rebooting the phone, disabling and enabling the airplane mode / resetting the network setting have been fruitless.

I am bit surprised as to why this is happening because one of my friends has an iPhone 4S running on iOS 6 and he hasn’t complained of the said issue. Let’s hope that Apple or some one else figures out how to fix this issue. We are also looking for a temporary fix for the problem and will post it here as soon as we have something. To make sure you don’t miss out the temporary fix, stay tuned to our Twitter, Facebook and RSS Feed.
