iPad 3 to be called iPad 2 plus, is coming this September
Last few weeks in the Apple world have begun with new and wild iPhone 5 rumors. Digitimes, who is at the thick of these speculation spreading games has begun this week with an iPad HD rumor and not another next gen iPhone rumor. According to the Taiwanese publication, the Cupertinos have put their foot on the accelerator in a bid to roll out the iPad 2 successor in the fall season.
Steve Jobs and co feeling the need to meet iPad HD demand have decided to bring in another iPad 3 manufacturer alongside Foxconn, who has been the exclusive iPad 2 producer. Just like the previous rumor said, iPad 3 which is expected to go live in September/October, will be called iPad 2 plus and will have a thinner design and a higher resolution display, retina display if you may.
But the question is this – Is iPad 2 Plus really a good name for the next gen iPad? Or are you more comfortable with iPad 3 or iPad HD? Our Twitter, Facebook page and the comment box await your response.
