Samsung Electronics and LG display are unable to reach a good yield, not according to what Apple requires, and plus another iPad display manufacturer is charging a higher price causing further delay.

Moskowitz also wrote in a research note to clients, “Our latest research continues to indicate that there is no such device slated for production this year. There are prototypes in the supply chain related to the next generation device, but our conversations with industry participants suggest that a new device will not be available until sometime in calender 2012.”

In that case iPad 2 will continue to be the only iPad model this year and 2012 is going to the year for iPad 3. So keep your wallets warm for tablet cash and be prepared for something very hot next year!
