iPad spoils its own party, lacks camera and multitasking capability

I completely agree. I was totally for the idea of purchasing the iPad the very moment it came out because Apple has a stunning ability to give us just the good news.. they failed to mention there was and probably will not be a camera. If they suddenly added a camera to the hardware, they would have no choice but to up the price. The way I see it, iPad is missing several key features.. despite the “need for a third category of mobile devices is only recognizable by doing something the other two don’t do and doing everything the others do better”. There is no SMS program, no phone call receiver or transmitter (and so, renders the built-in microphone damn near useless), no camera (even the iPod Mini’s have cameras for God’s sake!) and absolutely no multitasking. It’s in my opinion that Apple really jumped the gun in this one and rushed a product into 2010 without taking into consideration the things most people use. The average American consumer doesn’t sit around reading iBooks and check their email. Android is such a popular and growing brand of mobile devices simply because it concentrates on what most people use their mobile devises for.. COMMUNICATION. The iPad seems more like a giant iPod than anything.
