Apple to unveil iPad Mini on 23rd October

When will Apple unveil the mini iPad is the question that is on the mind of most if not all iDevice fanboys. Well, thanks to John Paczkowski of AllThingsD, we now hear 23rd October as the possible unveiling date for the smaller size iPad. How close is the rumor to reality? We answer this all important question after the break.
First thing to note here is that 23rd October happens to be a Tuesday, not Wednesday, which so far has been Apple’s lucky charm day for launching new products. Secondly, this information comes from folks aware of Apple’s plans who see iPad Mini standing tall before the world on 23rd October in an invitation-only event.
How reliable is this rumor? Well, based on my close following of AllThingsD, I can say this information is as good as official and I see Apple unveiling a 7.85 inch thinner and slimmer iPad in about 11 days from now. The question is are you interested in the mini iPad or is Nexus 7 good enough for you?
