It seems much like iPhone 3G, the latest iPhone 3GS is suffering from overheating issues as well. Melissa J. Perenson of PCWorld shares with us her own story besides informing us about related story regarding the overheating issue. Sadly, what is gathered from these reports is the undesirable fact that a few iPhone 3GS might be suffering from the overheating problem.

All of this began at a French based site Nowhereelse, where an owner of the latest iPhone informed that he noticed a discolored white iPhone 3GS. These undesirbale incident took place as a result of the user using the GPS and 3G connection. His words were
I bought an iPhone Friday morning 3GS, I normally used and a few days ago, I did the test several apps warning radars in the car when I was a passenger, the apps using the GPS chip as well as 3G, after a while my iPhone was very hot but not burning hot.
Yesterday when he was placed on my desktop screen on it I noticed a mark intriguing back of my phone. Elle est rougeâtre/rosée et fait le tour de l’iPhone en suivant à priori les contours de la batterie … It is reddish / pink and a tour of the iPhone by following a priori the shape of the battery …
Coming to Perenson’s story, she shares with us that she was noticing heat issues from the very first day. She says that while using the iPhone 3GS (playing game, browsing the web over the Wi-Fi) being plugged into the wall outlet, she noticed the handset becoming very hot not only from the back side but also on the front face. It was so hot that it was impossible to put the face against the phone. However strangely she did not notice any discoloration may be because she has the black colored handset.
