iPhone 4S Hits Stores, Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak First In Queue
After record-breaking pre-orders, Apple’s iPhone 4S hits store shelves today, while a large number of Apple fans have been seen standing in long queues outside many Apple Stores in order to get their hands on the 5th iteration of the company’s smartphone.
Even Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was reportedly found standing first in line outside Apple Store in Los Gatos, California, waiting to get his iPhone 4S.
This is what Steve Wozniak tweeted from outside Apple Store:
The long wait begins. I’m first in line. The guy ahead was on the wrong side and he’s pissed
Wozniak claimed that he loves to stand along with other Apple fans at product launches, “I want to get mine along with the millions of other fans,” he told to a renowned news agency.
The iPhone 4S, was released on Oct. 4, just a day before Apple ex-CEO Steve Jobs died. iPhone 4S is almost similar to it’s predecessor iPhone 4 but it has a faster CPU and an 8-megapixel camera.
Apple’s latest iPhone features an A5 chip, iOS 5 and Siri, a voice controlled “personal assistant.” In US, the iPhone 4S is available in three models – a 16GB model for $199, 32GB for $299 and a 64GB model for $399 – all with a two-year carrier contract.
