Apple’s iPhone 5 battery life claims are a lie, test shows
Boy there is no stopping iPhone 5 issues from popping up is it ? First it was the flickering screen issue, followed by the light leakage issue and now we find that the iPhone 5 is having trouble coming true to Apple’s promised battery life of 10 hours.
iLounge ran some battery life tests on Apple’s self claimed greatest iPhone and found it to be shorter than the promised battery life. The misery doesn’t end here as the 4 inch phone was found to be second best to iPhone 4S when subjected to voice calling, FaceTime video calling, Wi-Fi data, and cellular data tests.
All was not bad for iPhone 5 as it got a slight edge over the iPhone 4S in full HD video recording. But all in all, the feeling is that battery life is an issue for iPhone 5, may be it is some iOS 6 related issues.
