iPhone 5 Delayed Due To A5 Chip Overheating
Earlier we wrote in a post that iPhone 5 might be arriving in October, but we have an update here which we have discussed after the break.
Latest rumor about the arrival for iPhone 5 tells us that it is not arriving “soon” because the A5 chip is overheating!
This news came from a story posted by a Chinese site Sohu.com which blamed the heating up of the dual-core A5 chip for iPhone 5′s delay. The story further stated that the Apple’s silicon group were unable to keep the dual-core A5 chip cool in iPhone’s little enclosing where space plus battery were at premium.
So basically the problem is cramming the chip into such a tiny enclosure is causing the iPhone to overheat and so consequently the association has delayed the arrival from June-July to late August or early September.
However there is no confirmation as yet, so all we can do is actually wait!
What’s your opinion? Do you guys think that the cause for iPhone 5 being delayed is due to the dual-core A5 chip overheating? Or do you think that this story is just a “bogus” and that iPhone 5 will arrive at a decent time? Drop in your comments below to tell us your opinions.
