iPhone 5 puts Galaxy S III to shame in the speed test
When Apple announced the iPhone 5, there were some who expressed dissent over the iPhone 4S successor carrying only a dual core processor and not a quad core processor, like other smartphones in the market. With that in mind, one is inclined to say that the iPhone 5 if put in a speed pit with the third iteration of Galaxy S, will suffer a humiliating defeat. That seems true on paper but not in the video (via Mashable) shown after the break.
While you can get all the details in the video, here is the short and concise version. iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3 contest for the speed king crown by going through two benchmark tests namely Geekbench and GLBenchMark with the iOS 6 running device putting Sammy’s latest smartphone device in the loser’s seat.
With speed test out of the bag, what other tests do you see iPhone 5 going through? Voice your guesses and wishes in the comments section or you can go social by using our Twitter and Facebook feed.
