Apple hints at a 16th August launch for iPhone 5
The iPhone 5 release topic just keeps getting more and more confusing doesn’t it? Hot on the heels of a speculation of iPhone 5 launch getting delayed due to overheating issues, we now hear the very reliable CNET reporting that the Cupertinos might release the iPhone 5 come 16th August. Why are they so convinced about the August release? We answer this very important question after the break.

CNET reached this release date thanks to a Apple job opening posted on job site Reed. And here’s what makes this release date more convincing:
The post, which was sent to us by a tipster, asks for “full-time iPhone Sales Staff for an exciting project to work 5 days a week (Tuesday-Saturday) for the period 16th August – 29th October within key retail stores”. The posting appears several times on Reed, with each post covering a different area of the UK.
What more could be exciting than an iPhone 5 launch in the August period. Since we are on this release topic, it is worth mentioning that other speculations from the rumor mill has hinted at a September and even an October launch for the iPhone 4 successor. In the light of all this, you are better off with not keeping your hopes too high and adopting the will believe it when I see it approach.
