Just now, we told you folks about the arrival of iPhone OS 4.0 Beta 3. And as expected, the deep dive process into the latest Beta of iPhone OS 4.0 has started and has unveiled some interesting changes. The iPhone 4.0 multi-tasking bar has gotten new entrants in the form of an iPod widget and an orientation lock to facilitate your music experience on the iDevice.

To see the new features, all you need to do is a left swipe of your multi-tasking bar where you will see a few buttons all iPod related. Starting from left, you will see an Orientation lock button which basically locks the screen into portrait mode. To the right lie the iPod music control buttons for playing/pausing, switching tracks. To the extreme right is the iPod button to let you quickly launch the app. All in all, an exciting new feature. Let us hope that the practice continues.
