Today is a day of celebration for the iPad nation particularly for those who are into jailbreaking things as the first jailbreak tool for the iPad was unleashed. By now many of you would have jailbroken the iPad. If not, then check out the steps to be performed here. Anyhow, the thing that is important now is to find out what’s ready for the jailbroken iPad and what’s not. We discuss this very topic after the jump.

Things working on the jailbroken iPad

  • Backgrounder is working absolutely fine, so multi-tasking awesomeness has arrived for your magical Apple Tablet but without a GUI.
  • Pandora can be ran and streamed in the background thanks to the Backgrounder.
  • Activator is working absolutely fine.
  • SBSettings are working just fine except for the missing landscape view support
  • OpenSSH is believed to be working fine as well.

Things  not working on the jailbroken iPad

  • Proswitcher is not working. You will see the UI but can’t switch between the cards.
  • Cydia’s layout is not yet iPad compatible.

It  is just a matter of them before these apps and others not mentioned here will become iPad friendly. All that is needed from you is patience which I am pretty sure you will exhibit. If there is an app you find working/not working, do mention it in the comments so that every one can benefit.
