The title of the post says one and only one thing – Kinect is hot so much so that even iPad can’t touch it. Here’s the thing – Kinect has gotten itself the crown of being the fastest selling gadget in the proud history of the gizmo universe.

The motion sensing controller for Xbox 360 managed to achieve this feat by getting itself sold 2.5 million times in the first 25 days of its debut. And if you know the maths, that’s a whopping 100,000 units sold each day.

With this incredible sales runs, Microsoft’s sensation causing wireless controller has taken the title from the iPad which got the same title by getting itself sold 2M times in the first two months of its launch.

Another thing to note here is that Microsoft is yet to experience the out of stock situation which Apple did face back when the magical Apple Tablet went live.
