The Moorestown-powered GW990 from LG has finally become official. The LG GW990 is the best “tablet like” device you’ll see at CES 2010, and it isn’t even a working prototype. LG GW990 is a device with the 4.8-inch revolutionary screen (1024 x 480 pixels).

The highlights of this gadget include:

  • 16GB of built in flash memory
  • 5 mega pixel camera.
  • 512MB RAM
  • 720p output is possible if the 1020 x 480 screen resolution
  • Right kind of curves at the right places, it’s an appealing device even if it suffers from a bit of an identity crisis.
  • Powered by Moblin and primarily marketed as a 3G device
  • 1,850mAh battery.
  • MicroSD expansion slot.
  • The UI is just a standard S-class layered on top of Moblin.

No word on price or availability date yet. Even though it’s not clear when will it hit the market, at least we know where Intel is going.
