LG Optimus 7 does Voice to text, can create panoramic pictures
If you are hearing about LG Optimus 7 for the first time, then fear not as you have already heard about the device but under the name LG E900. A Korean newspaper got some hands-on time with the Windows Phone 7 device and are claiming to have come across a couple of new and exciting features which we discuss after the jump.
According to the Korean newspaper Korea Economic Daily, LG’s Optimus 7 has an Android phone like feature Speech to Text that converts your voice input into a meaningful set of strings making it a perfect solution to quickly sending SMS, posting status updates and even composing emails.
We have kept the best for the last. LG E900/ Optimus 7 has a feature called Automatic Panorama that lets you create panoramic pictures by simply panning the camera and lets you combine and merge your pictures into a bigger one. The Koreans also shared some specs of the device which seems to contradict with the previously rumored specs:
- 1 Ghz processor.
- 3.8 inch touch screen.
- 800*480 resolution.
- 16 GB of built-in storage.
The only question which I post here is this – is the Speech to Text feature a Windows Phone 7 specific feature? I certainly hope that it is. What about you?
