Mac App Store to go live on 13th December
When Steve Jobs talked about the Mac App Store at the Back to the Mac event, you knew that the rumor mill will be upto its rumor producing ways and you were right. Appletell’s insider source has given 13th December as the launch date for the Mac App Store the guidelines of which are serving as a laughing stock for some developers.

According to the source, Apple had given 6th December as the date by which to finalize their Mac App Store offerings in order to make it to the launch of the App Store which doesn’t look likely now does it? There’s a clear push from the Cupertinos to get it out before Christmas which makes perfect sense as it might be the launching pad that the App Store can do well with. As a matter of fact, the unnamed source revealed that Steve Jobs was eager to unleash the Mac App Store even before 6th December which makes 13th December an ideal candidate for the release day.
