McGraw Hill CEO confirms the iSlate launch date
Up till now, we have been considering 27th January as the rumored launch date for the iSlate. But I think we can safely say that the rumor under focus has become a reality. McGraw-Hill CEO, Terry McGraw confirmed the launch date while giving an interview to CNBC. Besides confirming it, he was in full praise mode as he called the Apple Tablet terrific. The CEO confirmed a couple of other things as well which we discuss after the jump(Interview video after the jump).
McGraw also disclosed that the Tablet will be running an iPhone OS similar to the one currently used on iPhone or iPod Touch for that matter. It was believed that iSlate aka iPad will also serve as an ebook reader which is all but confirmed as the CEO provided an insight on the joint effort made by his team and the Cupertinos to bring eBooks to Apple’s latest gizmo.
Here is a question for you? Is the CEO in trouble for disclosing this bit of information or it was an altogether a planned move?
