Microsoft updates Office 2004 and 2008 for MAC

Is this the week in which Microsoft will just keep showering various updates. Just now Microsoft has released updates for Office 2004 and Office 2008 for MAC.
The 2004 version of Office has been updated to version 11.5.4 whereas 2008 version is upgraded to 12.1.7. What the update for both the version does is that it fixes a security issue that an attacker can exploit and use to overwrite the contents of a computer’s memory through malicious code.
Microsoft in reference to the updates said that it also contains performance improvement for both the version flavored for MAC users.
