Rumor: Apple to offer MobileMe as a free service

Want one more reason to be excited about the WWDC 10 conference that kicks off on 7th June? Here you go, based on some thin but convincing evidence MobileMe might finally become a free service. Find out what led to this conclusion after the jump.
Interestingly, Apple has changed the statuses for the Account Type changing Free member to Full Member. So what do you think, is the above screenshot convincing enough to make you believe that the sync service is becoming free.
We will find the answer to this question on coming Monday when Steve Jobs takes the stage and unleashes an impressive set of announcements, which of course includes the iPhone 4G announcement.

Well I guess Me isn’t going free, my trial ends on June 14 and it says they are going to bill me.
