Motorola updates its Android 2.1 roadmap

Another Motorola specific leakage has taken place. This time the leakage details Motorola’s plan to roll out the extremely popular Android 2.1 for its Android family of mobile phones. The roadmap identifies the phones currently getting the 2.1 version as well as the one scheduled to get the update in the near future.
Milestone and Droid users are also receiving the firmware update in batches. US based Cliq and Cliq XT handsets will be getting the sensational mobile OS in the current running quarter. The mobile phone manufactures are considering and evaluating the roll out of Android 2.1 for Devour and DEXT. The prospects of getting Live wallpapers, Google Maps updated version and other exciting features has the Android nation excited for the 2.1 version.
