The problem with competing with the Iphone is that the Iphone is exclusive to AT&T and it has 2 year contracts associated with it. People cannot just drop their Iphone and move to the Droid. The other problem is the Iphone 3GS came out first and is one of the reasons Apple had record revenues which goes back to the 2 year contracts. That means Verizon’s potential customer base is way way smaller then Apples. Verizon may be able to steal some of the first Iphone owners and the 3G owners but the 3GS are locked to AT&T for awhile.

Well I would like to agree with Jake. But point is people are not mad that they will easily switch to Droid. And secondly I would say that Droid Eris is better than Motorola Droid I suppose.
