Motorola to fix Droid camera auto-focus problem via Over the Air updates

Motorola, has finally decided to solve Droid’s autofocus problem. It will do that by releasing an Over the Air (OTA) update that will fix this undesirable problem, thus eliminating the need to take it to the service center. According to a leaked document, OTA update will be rolled out to the Droid users on 11th December.

The Android powered phone’s camera seems to have a problem when it comes to auto-focus and often produces red-corners in the captured photos. All this is believed to happen due to a certain timing bug. While this may sound strange, it appears to be correct as certain users have eliminated the bug by changing the date on the phone.

With the arrival of OTA update just around the corner, users will no longer be required to apply this tweak. Instead, they will be required to just download the OTA and the auto-focus problem will disappear. If you can’t wait for the OTA, then you may be interested in checking out the following post to solve the auto-focus problem
