firefox_logoMozilla has released an new update for the Firefox browser. Yesterday, Mozilla Firefox users were prompted to update the 3.0.10 version to 3.0.11, an update which should solve a lot of issues with the browser.

Some users have obsered that Mozilla Firefox runs awfully slow, it crashes a lot, and it’s loads websites very slow therefore some of the users decided to switch to Google Chrome as they don’t need any add-ons or plugins anymore.

11 flaws are fixed in Firefox 3.0.11, six were rated critical, one “high,” two “moderate” and two “low” in Mozilla’s four-step system.

Three of the six critical bugs were in the browser’s rendering and JavaScript engines, a frequent target of Mozilla’s patching.

Mozilla said:

Some of these crashes showed evidence of memory corruption under certain circumstances and we presume that with enough effort at least some of these could be exploited to run arbitrary code,

As we all know that Firefox 3.5 is around the corner, but at this point, Mozilla has not set a scheduled for posting Firefox 3.5 RC, once slated to appear the first week of June.
