Meet MSI WindPad 100, the Windows 7 powered Tablet
With the iPad creating a lot of buzz, it is only natural that other gadget manufactures come up with the iPad competitors. MSI is no different. They attended the Computex event and unveiled the WindPad 100, which happens to be a 10 inch Windows 7 powered tablet. Specifications listed after the jump.

Here is a quick run down of the Windows 7 enabled Tablet from the specifications perspective:
- 1.66 Ghz Intel Atom processor.
- 2 GB RAM.
- 32 GB SSD.
- Runs on Windows 7 Home Premium.
- 2 USB ports.
- HDMI port.
- Webcam.
- Can connect to a HDTV.
- Customized User Interface in Wind Touch UI.
The tablet which is made entirely out of plastic has weighs just 1.7 pounds, will cost $499 and will go live in the later part of 2010, may be during the holiday season. By the way full marks for the MSI folks for coming up with an attractive design. WindPad 100, wasn’t the only tablet announced by MSI, they also had an Android powered Tablet on display, the details to which will be posted shortly.
