After the recent launch of Facebook Extraction Language, the organization of Facebook Hacker Competition and the enhanced Graph search feature associated with Facebook this is a third consecutive popularity gaining stunt being revealed by Facebook in the recent times. It is much of Facebook’s popularity has gone down ever since Twitter has begun to replace it in the Social Media platform.

The current news feed is based on the status updates of your Facebook friends, any photos or files they attach and any location check ins that a Facebook user does etcetera. The Facebook apps for iPhone and Android are also awaiting a revamp since the last time they were updated was back in the year 2011. It is expected that the news feed updates for these apps would come along with the updates for the desktop version of Facebook.

A main issue that would be looked up regarding the upcoming Facebook is that whether it would be in line with the expectations of its users or not. The higher its usability would be, the greater effect it would have on the popularity of the giant socializing network.
