New York Times lands at the Android Market

The wait is finally over for the New York Times readers waiting to get an Android specific app for their cool smartphones. New York Times for Android is a real deal and is available as a free download from the Android Market.
The app is pretty straightforward and has a simplistic yet user friendly look to it. Swipe gesture will be used mostly for navigating this app be it for switching between sections or even articles for that matter. The New York Times app also allows you to watch videos from the Latest Videos section and that too without any issues. With social network boom taking one and all on its side, this app also allows you to share the articles you like with your friends from Facebook, Twitter and other social services.
