Nokia N97 mini wins the Best Mobile handset award
Nokia N97 Mini seems to have developed a habit of winning awards these days. Yesterday, Nokia N97 Mini was given the Best Mobile handset award by GSM Association (GSMA). This is not the first award that Nokia N97 mini has won. During the current month, it was also named as the number one handset in Phones Show Autumn 2009 ‘Top 5′.
Here is a quick look at some of the cool specs of Nokia N97 Mini:
-
5 megapixel camera
-
Dual LED flash
-
Carl Zeiss optics
-
8GB of internal memory
-
3.2 inch touchscreen
- 640*360 resolution
The Asia Mobile Awards were created by the GSMA as a platform to showcase leadership and diversity for mobile content, products and services across Asia. Judged by a panel of independent analysts, journalists and industry experts, this year’s Awards attracted more than 100 entries from operators, vendors and the broad value chain from across the mobile industry that provide products and services that are commercially available in at least one Asian market.
For the first time, this year’s winners will also be shortlisted for the Global Mobile Awards, which take place next year at the GSMA’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
One just wonders, with the minimized version of Nokia N97 getting so much recognition, what’s keeping N97 from getting recognition and winning awards? Any idea?
Speaking of N97, Nokia very recently rolled out a firmware update for Nokia N97. Find more about it here.
