Office 2010 Beta downloaded more than 7.5 million times
Want to know how the trip and response has been for Office 2010 Beta since its launch? Well, let’s just say it has experienced one of most successful runs and promises better things once the final version is released and people start purchasing it. Ok here it is, more than 7.5 million copies of the beta version of Office 2010 have been downloaded by the general public. What does that mean? The upcoming version is definitely the Office suite to have.
Here is how Takeshi Numoto, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Office unveiled the impressive start:
Since the start of our public beta in November 2009, we’ve had more than 7.5 million people download the beta version – that’s more than 3 times the number of 2007 beta downloads!
Office 2010 Beta ever since its launch has had the crowd attracted. In just two weeks of its launch, its download count reached the impressive 1 million mark. Office 2010 has entered the RTM stage and is raring to be unleashed for manufacturers, business users (on 12th May) and the general public.
Office 2010 will first become available in retail stores in June in the US, and customers can pre-order these retail versions of Office 2010 at http://store.microsoft.com/OfficePreorder today to receive Office when it becomes available.
