Opera, the creators of the so claimed fastest browser has unleashed Opera Mini 5 Beta for Android. With the Beta version, Android users now have come to a level similar to that of the BlackBerry and Windows Mobile owners. The browser can be downloaded from the Android market or from Opera’s site itself.
Opera which has already reached 50 million users worldwide attempts to speed the browsing experience by compressing 90 percent of the requested data before sending content to the phone, resulting in significantly improved page loading and speed. As always I leave it to you to decide. Mobile phone owners would have no problem in using the browser since it offers a desktop like experience with well known features which include:
Dag Olav Norem, Vice President of Products, Opera Software.
Android users should not have to compromise when it comes to surfing the Web on their phones. Opera Mini will give Android users a fast and cost-efficient access to their favorite Web sites and services.
In case you want to download it from Opera’s official site just navigate to m.opera.com/next. via your Android phone browser
