Outlook Social Connector Beta coming today

A couple of days back, we told you to be prepared for the arrival of Beta version of Outlook Social Connector, which as the name suggest will bring a social network color to the desktop based email client. Well good news for you, The beta version is going live today.
The good news here is that is not limited to Office 2010 users only. Office 2007 and Office 2003 users can bring this plug-in on board as well. Xobni is doing the development part for the add-on which will fetch items and content from social networks which includes LinkedIn, Facebook and others.
Currently, the add-on is a one-way traffic road since it doesn’t allow you to push/send updates or replies to your contacts on Facebook and other networks. Only you can receive updates from your contacts. So are you excited about it? Will you give it a try?
