PlayStation Network remains down for Third Day
It’s been three consecutive days now that PlayStation Network is down. All begin on Wednesday when a large number of PS users were unable to access the PlayStation Network due to some unknown error. Between this time frame, gamers experienced a series of unhappy updates (that are not over yet) by PlayStation Official Blog.
Let us share with you the latest update on the outage of PlayStation Network, after the break.
As in our previous post we questioned you about the ‘Anonymous’ involvement in this breakdown. It appears that we were quite on target at assuming that some external or anonymous force is behind this intrusion, and this is what the PlayStation Blog in their recent update pointed out:
An external intrusion on our system has affected our PlayStation Network and Qriocity services. In order to conduct a thorough investigation and to verify the smooth and secure operation of our network services going forward, we turned off PlayStation Network & Qriocity services on the evening of Wednesday, April 20th. Providing quality entertainment services to our customers and partners is our utmost priority. We are doing all we can to resolve this situation quickly, and we once again thank you for your patience. We will continue to update you promptly as we have additional information to share.
Many PlayStation users in past thought that this error was coming internally from Sony’s end due to some on-going maintenance, but the above updated statement by the PlayStation Blog oppose their believes.
So do you still consider that Anonymous or some other external forces are not behind in creating problems for both Sony and Gamers? Please share your views with us by leaving Comment in the Box below.
