Truly a sad day for the joyous Gamers, especially for PS3 Enthusiasts, as their most admired PlayStation Network which is abbreviated as PSN is encountering gross problems and is inaccessible since yesterday.

PlayStation Network Problem

PSN is a place where gamers from different regions come online to play games and do chatting with their fellow gamers, since it has been down for more than 24 hours now, a large number of PS owners are madden and depressed over PlayStation Team for not investigating and fixing the error yet.

The error code shown on screen by accessing PlayStation network is “80710A06” and it is still not understandable by the simple user, that what problem is causing this error. When the users try to launch a game online they experience the following ’80710A06′ error and their access to PlayStation Network is terminated.

To ease the distress of the gamers, Sony PlayStation Team on its official Blog states:

We’re aware certain functions of PlayStation Network are down. We will report back here as soon as we can with more information.

Thank you for your patience.

The above statement is seriously a vaguest update, that failed to specify the cause of this error, receiving almost 177 comments so far, the update is still being discussed.

While researching more on this issue, we came across to the very next ‘Update’ on the same Official PlayStation Blog, that further extends the prevailing misery by mentioning:

While we are investigating the cause of the Network outage, we wanted to alert you that it may be a full day or two before we’re able to get the service completely back up and running. Thank you very much for your patience while we work to resolve this matter. Please stay tuned to this space for more details, and we’ll update you again as soon as we can.

The aforementioned statement is still not giving any clue, for why does this problem occurred, many think that it is an attempt of Anonymous attacker who might have DDOS the network, while others assume that it is possibly down due to ‘maintenance’, but everyone hopes and wish that PlayStation Engineers will soon find a fix to end this difficult and ticklish situation faced by them.
