google_docsIf you have had the chance of using and creating Presentations using Google Docs,  then just like me you might have wished that Google Docs improves the Presentation part and brings new features to it. Well Google just did that. They have listed to the wishes, demands and expectations of many and have incorporated a few impressive enhancements into the Presentation component of Google Docs.

The latest enhancements include:

  • Multi-shape formatting – This enhancement allows you to select multiple shapes or even text boxes for that matter and format them all at once. In order to select multiple objects, hold down the SHIFT key when you click/drag over all of the desired objects. Once done with the selection part, you can change the fill color, line color, border weight, font size and much more.
  • Manipulation of text boxes – Text Box manipulation gets easier in various ways. As you type, Text box will grow automatically in size. If you want to align text box vertically within multiple boxes, that can be done via Text Vertical Alignment button. Text Vertical Alignment button is added to the toolbar.
  • Better navigation to particular slides – When you are giving presentations, you are required to navigate to particular slides at a certain stage, well this can be done in a better way. Just click on the Start Presentation button to launch into presentation mode. Then to perform the navigation task, search for a toolbar at the bottom of the window and you can jump to any slide instantly.
