Hot on the heels of reporting the unfortunate PSN outage, we now have the official confirmation that PSN is indeed down due to some issue that is yet to be identified.

This confirmation comes from Sony’s EU PlayStation Community Team member Yaster. Here’s the tweet:

PSN is experiencing a couple of issues with sign in right now, looking into it, in the meantime don’t sign out!

The key thing to note from the above quoted tweet is that whatever you do, just don’t sign out from PSN.
