Finally some good news for Playstation Network members across the world. Sony has made an announcement that is ought to bring a smile on your face. Yes, that’s right folks, the restoration of PSN, which went down on 20th April, has begun.

This announcement originally shared by Mashable was made by Sony Corporation Executive Deputy President Kazuo Hirai using the video medium. The executive personnel revealed that the services, which according to Sony were taken out by Anonymous, will be restored in phases and the first phase has been completed in most regions of the world.

The services that have returned are PSN, Qriocity services, online gameplay across PS3 and PSP, Music unlimited, access to Netflix, Hulu services, Playstation home and others. In an attempt to regain user trust that Sony so badly needs, PSN members have been awarded one month of free PSN and Qriocity services.
