Pwnagetool 4.2 brings untethered iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak for your iDevice

Die hard fans of PwangeTool will be pleased to know that the iPhone Dev Team has finally rolled out an update for their highly popular Mac based tool. PwnageTool 4.2 has just gone live and it brings with it the much awaited iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak, the untethered one that is.
In case you forgot, PwnageTool has been iPhone owner’s favorite jailbreak toy since it allows them to update to the latest iOS version without updating their baseband and preserving the all important unlock.
Pwnagetool uses the exploit called feedface which lets it do the untethered iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak magic. It is worth nothing that this exploit was discovered by the Chronic Dev Team and used in their iOS 4.2.1 friendly version of Greenpois0n. This version brings jailbreak for the following iDevices:
- iPhone3G
- iPhone3GS
- iPhone4
- iPhone4-Verizon
- iPod touch 3G
- iPod touch 4G
- iPad
- AppleTV 2G
