Quake 3 Arena is coming to a jailbroken iPad near you

I have said it before and I will say it again – iPad is the perfect gaming companion to have these days which has to do mainly with the Apple Tablet’s 9.3 inch touch screen of HD quality. But coming back to the business end – Quake 3 Arena has been ported to the iPad and will be making an appearance on your iOS powered tablet, jailbroken one that is.
The graphics is of high resolution nature and the game can be controlled via the on-screen controls as you will see in the video shown below. The game is actually a port of the iPhone version. To play one of the most popular first person shooter, you need to have a jailbroken iPad running at iOS 4.2. Quake 3 Arena will be hitting Cydia in the next few hours.
