redsn0w 0.9.8b1 unleashed, brings tethered jailbreak for iOS 5

Last time we touched the iOS 5 jailbreak topic, we shared with you the good news of the iPhone Dev Team jailbreaking the beta version of iOS 5. And now we have more good news to share with you guys. MuscleNerd and co have rolled out redsn0w 0.9.8b1 which brings tethered jailbreak for the beta version of the fifth version of iOS.
redsn0w 0.9.8b1 supports the following iOS devices:
- iPod touch 3G
- iPod touch 4G
- iPad 1
- iPhone3GS
- iPhone4 (GSM)
- iPhone4 (CDMA)
Here is what you need to know about this tool:
- Only for Cydia developers.
- redsn0w isn’t meant for those iPhone users who rely on an unlock.
- Doesn’t support hactivation.
