Rumor : Apple to launch Mini iPad, iPhone 5 as early as late 2010
Have we got a healthy and juicy Apple related rumor for you or what? If iLounge folks have got it right, which they are known to do so well, we are in for an announcement filled late 2010 or early 2011. Rumor has it that Cupertinos are looking all set to launch three new iPod models, a new and smaller sized iPad possibly the mini iPad and last but not the least iPhone 5.
Let us start with the iPod rumor shall we. According to iLounge’s source, Apple has not one, not two but three iPod models ready for release. One of them happens to be the new iPod Touch which has been leaked in the past. The second one is believed to be the new iPod Nano and the third one might be a 1.7 inch screen replacement for the iPod Shuffle.
Next up is the iPad or should I say the mini iPad. Again, the Cupertinos are believed to have the 7 inch sized iPad ready for production and could launch it as early as late 2010. Based on a previous rumor, we believe that it will have Retina display support as well. This is the second rumor we are hearing about the 7 inch iPad. DigiTimes folks have previously revealed Apple’s plan of rolling out the 5.6 and 7 inch iPad in late 2010.
Last in the rumor lineup is iPhone 5 which I don’t know why but doesn’t sound right to me. Anyhow, it is speculated that Apple is working very hard to push out the iPhone 5 as early as 2011 (quite possibly in January). The reason why Apple might be doing that is to take the focus away from iPhone 4 antennagate flaw.
