Rumor: Apple to announce Safari 5 at WWDC 10

With 7th June getting nearer by the second, it is only natural that we hear more and more rumors regarding the possible WWDC announcements that Apple will be making in San Francisco tomorrow. Latest rumor in that regard suggests that Safari 5 might be announced at Apple’s already sold out event. The latest version of Safari will be bringing some interesting features with it which we discuss after the jump.
Safari 5 features

Safari Reader – A feature that can be activated by clicking on the icon lets you view webpage in an organized and clutter free manner.

Performance Improvement – As with every release, this latest iteration will improve javascript execution speed by 25 percent.

HTML5 improvements – This one is pretty much expected as Apple have found deep rooted love for the open standard and are using it as a weapon against Adobe and Flash. Safari 5 will bring support for over a dozed of new HTML 5 features such as the full screen video support, geolocation support and more.
Even though all of this looks cool and interesting, there is no denying that iPhone 4G announcement is the one that will have the followers excited more than anything else. Speaking of WWDC 10 announcements, rumor has it that MobileMe will be made available as a free service.
