We told you that the fix for ultrasn0w 1.2 battery issue was just around the corner and we have been proven right. Developer @sbingner, the genius behind TetherMe has rolled out a new hactivation method/tool called Subscriber Artificial Module (SAM) that fixes the battery draining issue experienced by iPhone unlockers who unlocked their iDevice using ultrasn0w 1.2, the iOS 4.2.1/4.1 unlock tool.

The tool works by tricking your iPhone and iTunes into creating legitimate activation tickets even though you’re unlocked with ultrasn0w. This means you get the full benefit of push applications, and your battery life increases substantially. Installation instructions follow shortly.
