Skype for Windows now does group video chatting
Skype have stood by their words and have unleashed a Beta version of Skype for Windows. The Beta version brings the feature that had many excited – group video chat. The latest version is titled Skype Beta 5.0 and is available as a free download for PC users.
With this video conferencing feature, a maximum of 5 people can engage in a video group chat. Of course each one of the 5 involved members will be required to have the latest Beta version install and running on their system. To initiate this feature, all you need to do is simply press the Add button to invite your contacts and the press the Video Call button.
Skype will currently offer this feature free of cost but will eventually charge for it once the bugs have been fixed. Mac users will be getting their share of the Beta version later in the year.
