Twitter is an excellent source for sharing breaking and sensational news and this happening proves this very point once again. iH8sn0w, the genius behind sensational tools such as f0recast and Blackbreeze, in what is claimed to be an accidental tweet posted a photo of sn0wbreeze v1.6 (Beta version), which is iH8sn0w’s toy to  jailbreak iPhone 4.0.

Here is one more reason to be excited about – the v1.6 of sn0wbreeze promises to jailbreak iPhone 4.0 running on iPod Touch 2G even thought the 2nd generation of iPod Touch isn’t officially supported to get iPhone 4.0.

With this development, we now have two iPhone 4.0 jailbreak tools to choose from with the other one being Limera1n. And as you would have guessed from the name, the blackra1n successor tool is owned by none other than the jailbreak genius GeoHotz.

As is always the case, the release date is yet to be revealed. But common sense says that the tool will go live once Apple rolls out iPhone 4.0. And as many of you know, the iPhone OS 4 might be unleashed on 7th June when Apple’s already sold out WWDC event kicks off.

Since we are on the exciting jailbreak topic, why don’t you check out our Jailbreak section for jailbreak tools and usage guides, sensational apps and other interesting stuff.

Update 1: Sn0wbreeze v1.6 has been rolled out. Details here.
