T-Mobile UK rolls out Froyo for HTC Desire (Updated)

aThe moment which each and every owner of the T-Mobile UK branded HTC Desire has been waiting for has finally arrived as the title of the post. We are finally being blessed with the Android 2.2 update which I am sure will be loved by one and all. As I write this post, Android 2.2 is being downloaded on my precious HTC Desire.
Here is the official announcement:
We have some exciting news for all our Desire users.
The 2.2 firmware update (FroYo) will be available from today and will be sent over the air (OTA) direct to your phone over the coming weeks.
Be sure to save all your personal data before you start downloading.
The way I got my update was pretty simple. I simply went to settings –> About Phone –> System software updates and tap on the Check now button. Have you received your share of Froyo for your power house that is HTC Desire? Do share with us your impressions of the Android 2.2 update.
